    Go Online

If you are still visiting your local travel agent to book a holiday, it’s time to take a different approach. Limiting your options is not going to make your holiday cheaper and if you really want to save money on Jersey holidays, it’s time to take your search online. The internet is home to thousands of holiday sites that can offer you the cheapest deals. The internet gives you the option to book your flights and accommodation separately and while this method may be more time consuming, the savings are unrivalled.

    Be Flexible

If you can only go on holiday one week of the year, the chances of you saving money on flights and accommodation are slim. However, if you can be as flexible as possible when it comes to dates, you are more likely to pick up a great deal. Certain times of the year are more expensive and if you choose these off peak times, you can save hundreds of pounds on exactly the same trip.

    Be Unsociable

Travelling through the night is one way of bagging cheaper flights and if you are willing to pick a night flight or one that departs in the early hours of the morning, you can take advantage of cheaper prices all round.

    Be Alternative

Sticking to what you know is not always the best way to bag a deal. If you only go to a couple of well know airlines to find flights to Jersey, you may be missing out. You can cut costs simply by doing some research online to find alternative options. Find out about the smaller airlines or look into other ways to travel to Jersey. You could take the ferry to Jersey and save money by changing your method of transport.

    Get a Group Together

Adding more people to your party is one way to drive the price down. If you are travelling as a couple, you will have to split the cost down the middle but if there are five or more of you, the cost of the accommodation is split equally making it cheaper for all involved.

    Become a Member

If you really want to get the best deal, loyalty is the key. Sign up to a holiday company’s website and become a member to hear about the offers before anyone else. These insider offers allow you to take advantage of low prices which will be sent straight to your Inbox.
