3 Top Places to Eat in Palma Majorca

Palma Majorca is the biggest and the major city on the stunning Spanish Island of Majorca.

Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma
Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma

It is a major port that is full of hustle and bustle with a population on 500’000. There is plenty to do with some excellent nightlife and great places to eat here are 3 fantastically Spanish places with great authentic food that you will love. It’s easy these days to fly to Palma for very reasonable costs so have a good look online and see what you can find.

    The Tapas Club

Just a short walk from the middle of town is the Portixol area this was once just a run-down fishing quarter of the city now it’s a thriving seafood section with many excellent restaurants, bars and a small beach to relax next to. The Tapas club is in the best spot on the far end of the beach and has the most mouth-watering array of tapas you can imagine. You can get great cocktails and well so can order up mojitos and mejillones (spanish mussels) to your hearts content.

    C’an Joan de Saigo

This place serves us the most fantastic Mallorquin breakfast perfect after a hard nights Spanish dancing and early morning swim.  They serve up Spanish croissants called ensaimadas and its based in a fantastically un-touristy part of the region.

    Bon Lloc

A veggie institution in Palma for 20 years, eating at Bon Lloc is also about what’s fresh and available on the day. The set menu is created according to what is available from the market in the morning, with three main choices and two desserts. Chef Juanjo Ramirez uses organic ingredients where possible to create dishes such as spelt and seaweed spaghetti, and polenta with tomato, rocket and coriander. Reservations essential.
