However, before planning a visit to Hong Kong, there are two things you should know.

It is Easy to Enter and Leave Hong Kong

Flying into Hong Kong is easy due to the favorable Visa system. The government permits individuals from over 170 countries from across the world to enter without Visa. The visitors are given a travel pass that can last for up to 6 months, depending on the country of origin.

Among those favored by the system are persons from European nations, the United States, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Australia, India, and Canada.

Therefore, if you come from any of these countries, you will be able to travel to Hong Kong for either business or pleasure without difficulties. It also means that you are not required to plan the journey for weeks or months so that you can secure a Visa early enough.

It is also easy to leave Hong Kong once you have entered. This is because of the connections the region has to the other parts of the world. There are daily flights to over 190 destinations across the globe that is operated by many 100 airlines. Hence, it becomes easy to travel to other countries once you are done with Hong Kong.

It is made up of Over 250 Islands

Many people think that Hong Kong is a single island, which is not the case since it is made up of over 250 islands. They include the Hong Kong Island, Lantau Island, Chek Lap Kok, Conic Island, and Flat Island.

Each of these islands has unique qualities that make them perfect for business or for tourism. For instance, some of them, such as Hong Kong, are characterized by skyscrapers. Others such as Flat Island have amazing natural landscapes, which make them perfect for those that want to escape the busy city life.

Therefore, given the many islands in Hong Kong, it would be wise to familiarize yourself with the locations you plan on visiting.

However, it should be noted that Hong Kong has one major airport, and that is the Hong Kong International Airport. This means that you will have to access the other island via other means, which can either be by road, railway, or waterways.

    The Takeaway

Hong Kong is one of the best travel destinations preferred globally among different people. Flying into Hong Kong is easy since persons from over 170 countries, including Australia, are allowed to enter without a visa. It is also easy to leave the country due to the many daily flights from the region to over 190 countries. Hong Kong consists of 250 islands.
