With world tourism witnessing steady growth over the last few years, countries across the world have put special stress on the growth of the particular industry. Howard Johnson, Scarborough
Located on Kingston Road the hotel is an 8 minute drive from the 401 and is a 33 minute drive from outside downtown Toronto core. Facilities provided by the hotel include Wi-Fi service, flat-screen TV, iron and ironing board. Guests are free to choose between standard rooms or efficiency units. Even though there are no on-site restaurant but the guests are offered continental breakfast on a day-to-day basis. The hotel is of particular attraction to people looking for suburban accommodation and access to vehicles for travelling around. The estimated price for a stay at this hotel is about $65 per day.
Quality Hotel and Suites Airport East
It is located on the west side of Islington Avenue which is just to the south of Highway 401 in Toronto, Ontario. The hotel is well spaced from The Toronto Pearson International Airport (just 6.9 kms) and the Financial District of Toronto, just 23 kms away. Highway 427 and Highway 400 are also short distances from the hotel. The estimated price for a stay at this hotel is about $67 per day. The hotel offers a business centre, 24 hour exercise room and a restaurant offering breakfast, lunch as well as dinner. It further provides overnight free parking for gusts and a free airport shuffle.
Bond Palace Hotel
It is located on the southern side of the Dundas Street East and western side of Bond Street. Public transit is available just outside the hotel with the Dundas Station Northbound Platform subway station just a walking distance. Tourist attractions like CN tower, Rogers Centre and the Air Canada Centre can be reached from the hotel with the help of the subway system. The Eaton Centre, a well-known shopping centre in Toronto is just about 500 metres away. The average single day cost for a stay in the hotel is $87.
Strathcona Hotel Toronto
This one is also located in downtown Toronto on the West side of York Street and south of Wellington Avenue. The places one can look to explore are Toronto’s Eaton Centre, CN Tower, the Rogers Centre and the Air Canada Centre. The estimates expenses here come to about $108.
Travelodge at the Calgary International Airport
Last but not the least, the Travelodge Calgary international Airport is approximately 12 minutes walk to Sunridge Mall. This hotel is pretty economical with room rates being $112 for every day. The places to visit are the Calgary Zoo, (13 minute drive), downtown area and Glenbow museum among others.
So, if you are planning a family trip to Canada, think well before you take any final decision because being economical is an important aspect of travelling.
