The lure of the beach seems to be of universal appeal. It doesn’t matter what your nationality, religion, or any other defining feature, you would be hard pressed to find someone who doesn’t like the beach. And Israel is a country that has been blessed with a plethora of magnificent beaches.

The Mediterranean Sea stretches along the vast majority of Israel’s coastline, yet not all of Israel’s luxurious beaches are located on the Mediterranean. The other two seas that grace Israel are the Dead Sea and the Red Sea at Israel’s southernmost point – Eilat. And it is at these two locations where two of Israel’s most luxurious beaches are located.
What could be more laid back than literally sitting in the water reading a book or paper without the support of a sun lounge or life vest? Well, the only place in the world you can do this is at the Dead Sea. Try Mineral Beach on the northern end of the Dead Sea – it is clean, it has less pebbles than the southern beaches, a natural hot sulfur Jacuzzi, free mineral-rich mud, a cafeteria, showers, amphitheater, even a freshwater pool and health treatments. You must pay for admission but it is worth the price.
In Eilat, possibly the best beach is Coral Reef Beach. The Red Sea is renowned for its underwater life and the snorkeling possibilities; Coral Reef Beach is probably the best snorkeling beach in Eilat. The corals and exotic fish on display are wondrous, whilst above the water there are sun lounges, showers, a kiosk, and all the equipment for rent that you will require to fully appreciate the Red Sea. Admission is free.
No review of beaches in Israel would be complete without at least one beach in Tel Aviv, the only problem is, which one? Jerusalem Beach? Cheech Beach? Banana Beach? Gordon Beach? Frishman Beach? All these beaches are located literally a stone throw from the other. They are all free to the public, have wide expanses of clean sand, crystal clear water, cafes dotted on their foreshore, and a vibe that just can’t be beat. If you have the chance to experience them whilst staying in luxury apartments Tel Aviv then all the better.
The possibilities of which luxurious beach to enjoy in Israel is extensive. Not all people enjoy the same types of beaches, although powder-like sand, and clean, clear water, are usually a good start. That makes Israel a beach-lover’s paradise.
