It’s amazing how slow hours can go in a workplace but how fast it passes by during vacations. This problem becomes even more difficult when exploring a large country like Argentina with a limited time in your hands, such as in the span of 7 days. You may easily lose a day of your trip just by unloading your luggage.

Here is a travel guide to maximizing your time in the great country of Argentina.
Preparing For the TripÂ
Preparation is key to enjoying your vacation in Argentina. Forgetting your inhaler, first-aid kit, or cosmetics bag can lead to frustrations when the time comes you need it. Although most of your items can be bought from a store in Argentina, it will cost you both money and time to find a retailer.
Construct a list of must-bring items days or even weeks before your flight. Making the list at the last second is never a good idea because you will likely forget one or two items. Possible things to bring includes a valid passport, visa, currency accepted in Argentina, insurance, medication, roaming phone, toothbrush and toothpaste, etc.
Clothes are also a staple for every traveler’s backpack. Depending on the time and season of the year you plan on visiting Argentina, you may need to bring some extra board shorts or coats to withstand the weather. Avoid bringing non-essentials like snacks and toys. These things are almost never needed, and when you do need them, you can find a store to buy it from.
Map the AreaÂ
Familiarize yourself with the area you are staying at. From Buenos Aires, its largest city and capital, to the Ibera Wetlands, the second largest wetlands in the world, Argentina is immensely diversified. And though it remains impossible to traverse the entire country even if you know it like the back of your hand, knowing the area allows you to narrow down the best attraction sites and landmarks to tour within the week.
Perhaps the most apparent reason to visit the country is its capital, Buenos Aires. It is a strongly enjoyable location just to wander around, watch the country’s favorite sports games, go shopping at high-end malls and stores, or simply soak up the unique ambiance. Outside the capital, Argentina’s vast lands are filled with amazing natural habitats and wildlife reserves.
If you’ve had enough of the busy city life and want to be away from such a fast-paced lifestyle, take a stroll at Ushuaia. The town is deemed as the southernmost city in the globe. Modern facilities including casinos, shopping centers, and restaurants have sprung up to cater to the high volume of tourists that drop by each year. .
Protect YourselfÂ
To enjoy a vacation, you should keep yourself healthy and well at all times. Unlike traveling in Ontario, Canada, poor health management and personal hygiene in south America may lead to an illness, such as a fever or cold. From thereon, this could put your vacation downhill. Drink vitamins and minerals, eat healthy and well-balanced meals, and avoid going outside during extreme weather conditions.
Take any insurance documents with you just in case you encounter a road block on your vacation. You never know when you’ll need the coverage to save you money.
