Sukhumbhand Paribatra from Democrat party ranks the first to become the new Bangkok governor, according to a university poll released Thursday.
MR Sukhunbhand received 30.2%, followed by Nattakorn Devakula, son of former Finance Minister Pridiyathorn, according to Bangkok University survey.
ML Nattakorn received 17.2% of supports from the respondents.
Ranking the third is Yuranan Pamornmontri of Puea Thai party.
The poll result is different from the poll conducted by Assumption University released two days ago.
According to Abac poll, ML Nattakorn was in the lead, slightly ahead of MR Sukhumbhand.
The election is on Jan 11.
