BANGKOK – Car and truck sales in Thailand fell 2.5 percent to 615,270 units in 2008 and are expected to fall another 15.4 percent this year, Toyota Motor Corp’s (7203.T: Quote, Profile, Research) Thai unit said on Wednesday.
Toyota, which compiles vehicle sales for the whole industry, said domestic car and truck sales fell 7.5 percent to 631,251 in 2007 after a 3.0 percent fall to 682,161 in 2006.
