Scotland

Scotland offers some of the more tranquil rock climbing hot spots in the UK since they are less crowded than other locations. For those interested in making the long but worthwhile journey through Creag and Dubh Loch high in the Cairngorms, the climb can be reached on foot in around two hours. For those in search of rest bite and refreshment on the picturesque climb, there is reasonably cheap accommodation available near and around the climbing highlights.

Peak District

With so many beautiful locations, the Peak District will leave many a rock climber spoilt for choice. Wales

While the dips and valleys in Wales are relatively small in comparison to many other locations, the mountain range, particularly Snowdonia is home to some of the most varied rock climbing spots in the UK.
