    • The Grand Palace is one of the crowning jewels of Bangkok when it comes to tourism and travel. Built it in 1877 it is one of the most beautiful pieces of old architecture in the city and has been nearly completely preserved in its original state. The Grand Palace stands today as a symbol of The Royal Family, and is still used for ceremonial purposes.
