The Best Tropical Destinations in 2015

2015 will be soon upon us. This means several things, out of which the most important is this: there are some places you don’t want to miss visiting this year. If you have time for a holiday in January or February and you want to elude the cold season that is wreaking havoc in Europe and North America, the beginning of 2015 is the best period of the year to visit the best tropical destinations in the world. This is the warm season in most of the world’s most affordable tropical locations, so prices are already starting to come down.

From South America to South-East Asia, South Pacific and everywhere in between, you can’t get enough of what our marvelous planet has to offer in terms of tropical beaches. For a perfect winter getaway, here are the best tropical destinations in 2015.

1. Tulum, Mexico

This is a phenomenal place to visit, as you can gaze upon the ancient structures while swimming in the clear water. This walled city was the last known to be built by Mayans. Modern archeologists have done a flawless job at preserving the site. In addition to swimming and chilling, you can visit the Temple of the frescoes, explore an underground river or snorkel deep inside of the caves. Most hotels around Tulum have a 4.5 star rating, which makes them exceptional for accommodation.

2. Eleuthera, Bahamas

Eleuthera includes some of the most beautiful beaches of Bahamas. The white sands and tranquil pink are the perfect remedy for the weary traveler who seeks solitude. This 110-mile long island has tens of miles of unspoiled pink sand beaches. If you love solitude, this is the place to come. However, do not forget to take a peek at the “glass window”, where the Atlantic Ocean meets with the Caribbean Sea.
