    The Grand Palace


    Bangkok’s most famous landmark
    The palace was built in 1782. It consists of many exotic, intricately decorated buildings.

    The royal chapel houses the Emerald Buddha statue, carved from one piece of green Jade where some of Thailand’s significant religious ceremonies are performed by the King.
