    Make a Bucket List

If you have been blogging for a few years, it is quite common to fall into a rut when it comes to thinking of inspiring topics to write about. Consistent posting plays a key part in a successful blog but you don’t want to compromise the quality of your content by writing posts for the sake of it. Having a pool of ideas to turn to when you are feeling uninspired can help to get some good ideas flowing so why not create a bucket list? As a travel blogger, you must travel regularly and a bucket list can help you to decide on your next adventure. Whether you have always wanted to spend a luxurious weekend in a log cabin like the ones at Tor Farm or you simply want to go somewhere you have never been, your bucket list will keep you inspired.

    Create a Content Calendar

There is a lot of forward planning when it comes to running an awesome travel blog. As a travel blogger it helps to know what is going on in the world and a content calendar can help you keep a note of these events. The chances are your readers will want to know about the Notting Hill Carnival or the best time to see the Northern Lights so do your research and note it all down on your calendar. Use this calendar to remind you when you will be on holiday yourself or the days that you can’t blog so you can schedule posts that are relevant to your readers.

    Meet Other Travel Bloggers

One of the easiest ways to boost your blog followers and drive more traffic to your blog is to network with other bloggers. You can connect with like-minded bloggers on social network channels like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest and interact with them online. Following other bloggers and brands on Twitter can lead to more blog views and could lead to exciting opportunities in the future. Another option is to attend a local blogger meet up or organise one yourself. Talking to fellow bloggers about blogging will also help you to improve your blog as it is always inspiring to find out what works for others.
