IDEAS

Treat yourself to luxury for a fraction of the price by staying in the UK

This year, we really have been spoilt by the weather. With temperatures of over 30 degrees on some days, there really has been no reason to leave the UK. After all, it has been hotter here than it has been on the continent!

For this reason, if you’re yet to book your summer holiday then you should seriously consider staying in the UK. There really are some great bargains to be had and, with all this hot weather round, it will be just like being abroad anyway! Here are some great ideas for holidays in the UK:

    1. Hire a cottage: Nothing says best of British like a cottage in a countryside village. They really are the perfect place to relax and soak up all of that summer sun. If you live in a busy town or city then a countryside visit really is a great, low cost break and you can choose a duration that suits you. Try visiting Tor Farm Luxury Cottages to see just how much luxury you can get for your money!
    1. Visit the National Parks: If you’re someone that enjoys adventure and sightseeing then why not visit one of our gorgeous National Parks? National Parks are great for couples and families alike so, if you enjoy long walks and idyllic scenery then they are a great place to go and relax!
    1. Enjoy the best of the British seaside: However, if you’re more inclined to visit sandy beaches and enjoy the sea then you should consider the British seaside. Many people are unaware of the sheer beauty of the British coast and this is a real shame. Most of our beaches are just as good as any of their continental counterparts so give them a try!

Obviously these are only three ideas and there are literally thousands more options available to you! The whole country is your oyster and you can stay as close or as far away from your home as you wish. Likewise, the size of your party can be whatever you see fit. Whether it is simply a romantic break for two or fun for all the family and some additional friends, there really are some great options and stunning scenery right here at home! So, go out and enjoy that British summer sun, it could be a while before we see it again!
