Monaco is perhaps one of the most visited destinations by the very wealthy. As a tax-free haven, it makes an ideal location for tycoons and celebrities to have second homes. Countless billionaires can be found at this French Riviera destination, enjoying incredible beaches, yachts worth more than most people’s homes, and Formula 1 Races. With access and funds to stay in any one of hundreds of hotels around the world, billionaires are drawn to iconic landmarks like the Hotel de Paris and the Hotel Metropole for their luxurious amenities. No doubt that the Royal Family of this small nation lend some sophistication and elegance to the unprecedented wealth floating around.

It should come as no surprise that Las Vegas tops the list of holiday destinations for Billionaires. With plenty of casinos, there are unlimited opportunities to flash cash and risk it all on a game of chance. Although there are hotels with up to 5,000 rooms on the Strip, the wealthy can be found on the top floors of hotels like the Wynn and the Bellagio, in suites costing thousands of dollars each night.

Dubai is known for it’s incredible contrast of Middle Eastern culture and Western modernity. Throw in billions of dollars of spending money, and the destination becomes perfect for the extremely wealthy businessman. Countless new buildings and attractions are going up around the area, including a Ferrari World and museums stocked with classical art pieces of incredible value. Don’t be surprised to see the guests either side of you at the Dubai World Cup drop a cool million betting on the winner, as it is the world’s richest horse race.

Even the most wealthy sometimes need to unwind and relax on a beach. St. Bart’s is the perfect destination, thanks to the Caribbean location and gorgeous weather available year round. Many celebrities like Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, and Chelsea Football Club owner Roman Abromovich own homes on the island, but there are also plenty of luxurious (and pricey) resorts to stay at on St. Barts. The area is quite exclusive, and plenty of secluded and isolated shores offer some much needed privacy from paparazzi and journalists.
