Great Beaches
From the world famous surfing beach at Newquay to the quieter unspoilt beaches of Whitsand Bay, Cornwall is brimming with sandy havens, ideal for not only surfers and sand castle builders, but also bird watchers and sailors. You’ll find quaint little fishing villages like Polperro with family friendly beaches ideal for the kids or if you’re looking to strut your stuff amongst world class surfing conditions, head to Sennen Cove where you’ll also find a good selection of rental accommodation on the Beachlets website. There are plenty of Blue Flag beaches in Cornwall to choose from which guarantees a high level of water quality, good facilities for eating and parking and or course safe bathing.

Activities and Sightseeing
From watersports to coastal walking, bird watching or even rock climbing, you won’t have any excuse to stay indoors regardless of the weather with plenty to see and do. From the inspirational Eden Project near St Austell to some outdoor rock climbing in Watergate Bay, there’s sure to be something for everyone. The dramatic coastline that surrounds Cornwall offers the perfect chance to explore the region on foot or if you prefer why not go horse riding or hire a bike, the possibilities are endless. Food and Shopping
Cornwall is home to a number of top quality restaurants the two most famous being Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Restaurant in Watergate Bay and Rick Steins in Padstow. There are loads of fantastic gastro pubs serving top notch inexpensive fare to be found in seaside favourites like Carbis Bay and Mousehole, plenty offering local seafood or game. You’ll find quaint little cafes lining the shores of most beaches offering fish and chips or other take away delights and of course the children will revel in the array of ice-cream shops to be discovered. Most seaside villages are dotted with craft shops and art galleries amongst their narrow streets, many of which will take a few hours to unearth but will be well worth the wait. St Ives is a popular seafront village for artists with a good smattering of galleries for those looking to buy an original work of art.
