When seeking the best places to relax in London, you must not forget about the chance to view an award-winning theatre production. You have plenty of opportunities to sit back and enjoy performances produced by some of the most respectable companies in the country.

For instance, you can view some of the longest running offerings such as Mousetrapat the St. Martin’s Theatre and Phantom of the Opera at the Her Majesty’s Theatre. Otherwise, you might want to see one of many Beatles tribute productions scheduled a multitude of London’s best venues. However, perhaps you are the type of person who would rather view a Shakespeare classic such as Midsummer Night’s Dream or MacBeth at the Trafalgar Studio One or the Noel Coward. If any these interest you, plenty of chances await you. All you need to do is book your tickets in time for the show.

On the other hand, live productions such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factoryor Ice Age might suit you better if you have children. Yet, you might instead choose to see the Ballet Boyz or attend The Nutcraker if you prefer the dance scene.

Shows are scheduled every single day at many different times. This provides you with plenty of opportunity to take a theatre break in between all your other site seeing pursuits. For instance, you can visit the famous London Eye attraction and attend all the museums and art galleries you like. You can also admire the architecture of some of this city’s oldest chapels and schools. You can also take in the beauty of the construction of this city’s longest-standing government buildings if you wish. Otherwise, you can walk along the countryside or shop at all the famous Oxford Street markets.

However, sometimes you need to relax and let your feet rest. You can appreciate local art, history, and culture all around you while sitting in some of the most famous London theatres. You usually will not even have to move from your seat unless you want food or drink. Even then, you can enjoy plenty of pre-theatre meal specials to keep you satisfied during the night.

The schedules of shows change frequently, and new items are added every single season. Therefore, you are advised to book tickets to the productions you want to see as soon as possible. No matter what musical or performing arts shows you prefer, there is something for you. Musicals, concerts, dances, and plays are available for people of all ages, and they are presented all over London right now.

    1. We are planning a trip to England next summer and this post has been so helpful. This is the kind of information you don’t get from the travel agents. Any good motorcycle rentals in the area?

    2. Being in London is an experience where you find yourself surrounded by art and possibilities. I´ve been there once but didn´t have the chance to go to every place I wanted, still, I had the chance to watch beautiful locations, the palace, Covent Garden, and spent the most beautiful afternoons. The weather was cold but still comfortable, and there are definitely many performances to assist.
