    Black Buck National Park

    Founded in year 1976 in the Bhal region of Saurashtra, Black Buck National Park is a home to various species of wildlife animals including Blackbucks, Wolves, Houbara Bustard, Jackals and Jungle Cats. Positioned at Velavadar, at a distance of 72 km from Bhavnagar airport of Gujarat, the park is spread over an area of 34 km that has proper grasslands ecosystem. Due to this ecosystem, conservation of Black Buck, Wolf and Lesser Florican became convenient. Black Buck Wildlife Sanctuary boasts of the maximum number of black bucks in India.

    Gir National Park

    Spread over an area of 1412 km, Gir National Park is one of the biggest and imperative sanctuaries of India that was established in 1965. This park is situated at a distance of 65 km to the south-east of the Junagadh city of Gujarat. It is the only place after Africa where Lions are seen in their natural habitat. The park gives the opportunity to watch the wildlife animals very closely, especially during early mornings and evenings. The park is maintained by the Forest Department of Gujarat.

    Marine National Park

    It is the first marine park of India that is located in the Gulf of Kutch in Junagadh District of Gujarat. Established in the year 1982, the park is spread over an area of 162 km. The park displays the marine life of India in its best form. Experience an awesome underwater flora and fauna. Crystal clear water of the park offers a scintillating view of the underwater world. You can see more than 70 species of sponges, 37 species of hard & soft corals, 150-200 genuses of fishes and 27 species of prawns in the Marine National Park.

    Wild Ass Sanctuary

    Founded in the year 1972, Wild Ass Sanctuary is positioned in the Rann of Kutch area of Gujarat. The sanctuary is popularly known as the Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary that is spread over an area of 4953 km. It is a unique sanctuary of India that provides haven to the extraordinary Wild Ass sub species Khur (Equus hemionus khur) that belongs to species Onager (Equus hemionus). These are the strongest animals in the world.

    2. A trip to India must be at least two month trip, there is no time to really get to know the place and the people, there are too many things to do and its a big country with amazing places everywhere, so if I ever go, which I really hope I will, I´ll take my time and enjoy places like this.
