A few kilometers from the exquisite coast of Panay Island in the Philippines lies the island of Boracay. The busiest time of year is from November to May. The waters are very clear and peaceful and it gets somewhat hot and this is why it’s common to be on the beach all day long. It’s also one of the most popular tropical islands in the world today.

Some of the activities I enjoyed doing here was to swim amongst tropical fish and to snorkeling around nearby coral reefs Sailing trips up and down Boracay island is very good for taking in the sights. People have the option to rent a sailing boat or a 4×4 to check out the rest of the island.

You’ll find many types of accommodations to pick from because so many vacationers come here for weekends, family vacations and even honeymoons. Boracay has about twelve distinctive beaches and a wide range of coves. Listed below is a quick summary of the most important beaches on Boracay.

    White Beach
This happens to be the most renowned beach destination in Boracay. The most important tourist attractions here are taking walks on the amazing white beach sand as well as scuba diving around the beautiful reefs. Other kinds of activities such as skim boarding, going on rides on glass bottomed and banana boats, and of course wind surfing are often also renowned here. There are actually also a large amount of masseurs that walk the beaches offering massage services.

    Puka Beach
The magnificent Puka Beach spreads over about half of the northern part of Boracay island. The small surf is very common for island destinations that are circled by beautiful coral reefs. Puka beach is 700 meters in length and comes with a lot of tiny shells and very white coral amulets, which are often used for pendants. The beach was named after the countless Puka shells seen here, and are regarded by loads of people as being the most sought after sea shells in the world. To properly experience the scenery, motorized banca tours are ideal. Puka beach comes to an end unexpectedly at the Lapuz-Lapuz cliffs, and that is on the Northern side of Boracay.

    Manoc Manoc Beach
Manoc Manoc Beach is situated to the south of Boracay. Manoc manoc is a busy beach that has a regular stream of boats from nearby Caticlan island bringing necessary merchandise for many hotels and resorts. Here you will sometimes see professional wind and kitesurfers speeding through the powerful winds. You can also find various places where you can practice how to windsurf for anyone who are interested.

    Tulubhan Beach
This excellent beach destination is small and mostly isolated and comes with numerous coves.

There are different night clubs and places to eat found along White Beach. Therefore you do not have to worry about where you should dine. Numerous restaurants turn into a lively bar during the evenings. Also, a bunch of bars have extremely good musicians for people who would like to listen to the music.
