Here you can kick back and relax in a cosy taverna or bubbly cafe and watch the boats come and go, while fishermen haul in the day’s catch and local people scurry about, mooring their vessels or readying for departure. From here, you can join a local boat tour to explore the beautiful coastline of west Cyprus, or enjoy a leisurely cruise to one of the local must-see attractions.
To experience the more modern side of Paphos, head to the restaurants, chic bars and cheerful pubs of lower Kato Paphos. Or if you’re in the mood for exploring, you could always hire a car and discover Cyprus’ beautiful rugged interior, or drive around the coast in search of a more authentic experience in its tiny villages and bustling coastal towns.
