When you get to Paris, there’s so much to do it can be overwhelming. It helps to have an idea of the things you are most interested in before you go, to make sure you don’t run out of time before you get to see them. Try some different things so you get the real Paris experience, from museums to the nightlife.
The Musee de l’Orangerie is a well-known museum located near the heart of Paris. One of the main features here is an incredible display of Monet originals, as well as works by Picasso, Matisse, and Renoir. Tours are available in English as well as French. Famous throughout the world, the Louvre museum was built as a fortress in 1190. It became a repository for art over the years, and finally opened to the public in the 1790s, after the French Revolution.
No trip to Paris would be complete without seeing some of the city’s well-known tourist attractions. One of the more famous spots is the L’Arc de Triomphe, commissioned by Napoleon as a symbol of the victory of France. Another is the Eiffel Tower, which was built in the late 1800s and was not much liked by many Parisians at first. La Tour Eiffel is now an important symbol of France and most tourists think of this structure when they think of Paris.

Travelers who enjoy nightlife won’t want to miss the casino action at the Aviation Club de France, the Casino Supermarche, or one of the six other casinos in the city. They offer many types of gaming fun, such as bingo, keno, poker, slot machines, and many more. Casinos are typically open most or all of the night, and are often quite busy. You can play for hours, and then take a break to get a bite to eat before going back for more poker or bingo. Casinos just might be perfect way to round out your trip to Paris.
