1. Ha Long Bay:

Ha Long Bay, situated in North Vietnam is a top tourist attraction place. It is a natural wonder that features with innumerable islands topped with dense jungle vegetation which forms spectacular seascape of limestone pillars. It was declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1994. To reach at Halong Bay from Halong City having distance of nearly 170 km, a drive by car, mini bus or bus will do, and if you are good at your budget, an hour-long helicopter trip can also be a good idea.

2. Imperial Citadel of Thang Long:

Imperial Citadel of Thang Long situated in Hanoi, have an interesting archeological area. Many artifacts and items from 6^th century to 20^th century were found during excavations held from 2002 to 2004. Main tourist attraction here is old palaces, ancient roads, relics of various items, wells and ponds. A display room featuring interesting excavated items has been set-up for tourists as well as visitors.

3. Hoi An Ancient Town:

Hoi An is basically a living museum and quite unique mixture of East and West cultural tradition of Hoi An old-town architecture. This includes Japanese-designed Bridge, Chinese temples, French colonial houses, wooden shop- houses, Pagodas and old canals. Hoi An ancient town has been declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in December 1999. As a tourist place its main attraction is at Hoi An Riverside during night as the area is lit by old-fashioned lanterns, making an attractive and beautiful spot. Hoi An is covered-up with lovely beaches for beautiful sceneries of sea, sun and sand.

4. Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum:

People of Vietnam have preserved the body of their most popular leader- Ho Chi Minh, known as ‘Uncle Ho’, in a glass case at Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. As a part of unique history this place is a great tourist attraction for tourists.

5. Cu Chi Tunnels:

Cu Chi Tunnels are historical place that were used by Viet Cong guerrillas as a hiding spot in 1968. Now it has been transformed into a huge war museum and allows visitors to sneak peak at the underground life of the soldiers. This has been turned into a great tourist attraction spot as the visitors are allowed to enter the tunnel and make them to experience life of soldiers as thy lived after making them watch a short movie.
