Every year you tell yourself the same story: I will not book the same place as last year, I will not put up with bad weather on my few days off, I will discover a new destination where I am not surrounded by British tourists and eating at the Red Lion (no offence to good British pubs!)…

2013 is the year where you will accomplish your holiday resolutions. We would like for you to take a few minutes to discover why your holidays in Sicily 2013 will be the best you will ever have and why you will want to return again and again!
- WEATHER
Sicily is located at the south of Italy (next to the “tip of the boot”). The climate is mild and agreeable and welcomes tourists all year around. With more than 2500 hours of sunshine in a year and almost no rainfall in the middle third of the year and summer temperatures with an average of 27 degrees Celcius, there really is no bad time to visit Sicily.
- LANDSCAPE
Sicily offers you the most breath-taking landscapes you could have ever imagined you would see on your holiday. It is an island of extremes and contrasts that seem to root deep in your heart. The mixture of history, architecture, gastronomy and natural wonders, including the Etna volcano and the gorgeous white-sand beaches, does not leave anyone indifferent.
FAMILY
You might want a destination to travel with your little ones (or maybe not so little anymore). Sicily offers plenty of activities and adventures to keep children and teenagers entertained, interested and happy. The Madonie Adventure park, Taormina’s cable ride, Le Gole di Alcantara, Eureka!, The Salt Pans, the Catacombs in Palermo, Caltagirone’s ceramic-making, the Bio Parco at Carini, Selinunte’s archeological park, Etnavventura or visits to the mount Etna or all the castles and Greek theatres dotted around the island can provide hours of fun. There are always other planned activities such as puppet theatres or organised games in the sea.
If travelling with your family, do consider staying in one of the numerous villas in Sicily with pool . You’d be surprised at how relaxing it is to have a nap in the shadow while your children splash around!
- ROMANCE
More and more couples are turning to Sicily for their special time alone. Even a lot of newlyweds have started choosing Sicily for that all-special trip: their honeymoon! A private cruise could be a wonderful way to start your holidays. Or if you are a couple of early birds, how about getting up to watch the sunrise over the Etna?
A lot of couples have also taken an interest on helicopter flights over Mount Etna and, you can believe us when we say that the volcano really offers its best views from the top.
If you are less of nature lovers and more of culture seekers, there are numerous palaces, castles and theatres that you can visit. We definitely recommend a box in the Teatro Massimo in Palermo for some opera!
Even if you decided that one of the famous luxury villas in Italy is your accommodation of choice, there is no need to cook dinner: you could arrange for a private cook to come in and surprise you with some truly amazing food.
- SPORTS
Sicily offers you more than you can think of. You might not realise this, but did you know that Mount Etna is covered with snow for 4 months of the year? What could be more exciting than skiing on an active volcano!
For the sport fanatics with less of a taste for risk, Sicily offers golf courses all over the Island, from Sciacca to Mount Etna.
We are sure that by now you will be ready to book your next holiday to Sicily. With all these wonderful aspects to it, and more… why would you go anywhere else?
