The Big Apple
New York City has it all. Get ready for world-class dining in this city known for its restaurants. Whether you settle down for a juicy steak at one of New York’s many steakhouses, or drop into one of New York’s famous delis, your stomach will be fully satisfied.
After a great dinner, head over to a Mets or Yankees game. Baseball is big in New York, and New Yorkers are serious about their game. You might find the people watching the game to be more entertaining than the actual baseball players.
Cap off the night by drinking in the nightlife. New York is the city that never sleeps which means you can take full advantage of this cities electric nightlife.
Denver
You may not have ever considered Denver to be a great vacation spot, but Denver is ideal for a getaway with the guys. This mountainous locale has some of the greatest skiing in the US. The slopes of neighbouring Vail are epic.
If your guys only vacation lands smack dab in the middle of summer, have no worries. Explore the Rockies by going on a caving excursion. Spelunking is a great adventure.
September is another great time to hit Denver – especially if you fancy yourself as a bit of a beer connoisseur. It will be worth coming out for the ‘Great American Beer Fest’.
Miami
Miami is known for its active nightlife that is both trendy and unique. Get ready for some great times with your friends.
Venture out of the city limits to the heart of Florida to the Everglades National Park. Come face to face with alligators, manatees and many other species of Florida wildlife. The Everglades is the perfect setting for a wilderness adventure.
Louisville
Yes, Louisville. It’s another one of those places that you wouldn’t put on your must-see-places list, but Louisville will not disappoint. Besides being a beautiful and friendly city, Louisville has year round horse racing at Churchill Downs. Music is also an integral feature of the fabric of Louisville and plays host to some of the best music festivals in the country.
Take the guys on a two day ride along the historic and famed Kentucky Bourbon Trail. You’ll get to tour six historic bourbon distilleries and sample some of their finest products. Who says history is boring!
Milwaukee
Milwaukee is the home to the Harley-Davidson Museum. Need I say more? Besides all of the bikes, Milwaukee is famous for some of its home brews. Why not enjoy some of that beer at a baseball game, or while tackling some fine Milwaukee bratwurst. Milwaukee is a great manly destination.
Las Vegas
No list of the top guy getaways would be complete without Las Vegas. Vegas is a great place to spend the weekend and experience all that Vegas has to offer. The Las Vegas strip comes alive at night with bright lights and spectacles. Casinos line the strip and have more than just slot machines. Watch a show or settle down for some great food.
