    The capital of New Zealand is Wellington and Auckland is the country’s largest city. The place is known as Aotearoa in the native language, Maori. New Zealand is called the island country because it comprises the North Island and South Island and numerous other smaller islands. The country has a diverse climate – mild temperature, mainly nautical, warm winters accompanied by rainfall in some regions. As a linguistic part of Polynesia, the biodiversity of the country is over-the-top.

    New Zealand’s isolation from the rest of the world has gifted the country with beautiful flora and fauna, glacial mountains, fast-flowing rivers, clear lakes, hissing geysers and boiling mud. The flightless bird, Kiwi, is the country’s national icon. It makes a great vacation spot for travelers who are planning for respite from their drudgery.

New Zealand potters are recognized as one of the finest ceramicists for their highlighting contribution to the clay ware culture. Added to this, the food and wine in New Zealand is of enumerable varieties inspired from Europe, Malaysia, Thailand, Polynesia and Japan. The famous New Zealand bungee jumping is known all over the world.

It’s diverse climate, culture, spotlighting arts & crafts market, food, wine, shopping and entertainment makes the country an all time favorite for the tourists and travelers.
